Thanksgiving

Please forgive me. It has been a VERY long time. Almost 2 months. I was convicted today as I read 2 friend's blogs. They both have 2 kids and still make time to update people on what they've been up to and how their kids are growing so quickly! So here's an update.

Brooks is going to be 14 months old in a couple days. He LOVES anything that rolls or he can throw. And he says the word, "ball" VERY well. He eats so much better than he used to (thank goodness). He seems to be growing right now, as we are back to 2 long naps during the day and sleeping from 7pm - at least 7am, sometimes 8am.

He is BEYOND excited about visiting g-ma & joe-pa next week for Christmas. And seeing his great grandparents, great aunts & uncles, second cousins, aunts & uncle, and cousin Penelope. Hopefully you'll get a glimpse of those pictures before Valentine's Day! :)

In the meantime - here are a couple pictures from Thanksgiving week. Andy & Ashley came to visit with our nieces, E & S. For some reason, the camera only got turned on twice. Once - to take our family pictures for our Christmas card. And another - at the park.

Brooks isn't sure what he thinks of the big slide. So Mike went down with him.

He much preferred trying to climb up it.

S LOVES the slide and would have run down it if we let her. She's a bit of a dare devil.

E LOVED this "telephone." She kept ordering pizza from Uncle Mike.
