35 weeks & the grass is growing

I can't believe 35 weeks is here. How did that happen? I really feel SO lucky. The pregnancy has really been great. This past Monday we had a little scare that ended with us getting to have a little look at the hospital we'll be delivering at, as well as another sonogram to make sure baby was okay. Baby was most definitely okay - all 5 lbs of it - and no we didn't find out what we are having. If the baby grows the way it's supposed to and I deliver on my due date - we are looking at an 8 lb-er. So here they are - the pics. I apologize to the modest for a little glimpse at my undies - I thought about "censoring" the picture, but I think the fact that the pants have gotten progressively smaller adds to the growing of the bump. Which - as you can see - has gotten gigantic.
Here are a few pics of the sod laid in the backyard. I think it really opens up the yard and I can't wait to see a bunch of kiddos running around back there!

Sheesh....I couldn't even get my pants over my thighs at about 25 weeks! Good for you! I'm so excited for you. You are going to LOVE being mommy. And when your little one is about a year, watching them clap and smile and run around the house is the sweetest experience!

I'm on to number two! You will want a whole slew of them after you have your first! Praying for a pain free and quick delivery for you.

Love you bunches!

Hi Veronica! It's Mike's aunt Jan Lumsden! Carrie gave me your site and so I just had to comment! You look beautiful...as usual. I am very excited for you and Mike. Enjoy these last weeks with very little to have to be responsible for until baby comes.
Hope you faired o.k. after Hurricane Ike. Wow. Awful.
I will check in now and then to see how you are doing. Glad to know you love your job also and the staff are good to you! When I worked at our church we totally adopted a young secretary and her husband from Texas!!! So I am pleased to hear that your church is taking good care of you there.
Give my greetings to Mike!
Love, Jan
