Shortly after Elliott turned 6 months (Oct. 20) we started solids. He is just now starting to swallow.
Look familiar? NOT MY FAVORITE
We like to go to the park at the elementary school across the street from our house.

In November, my parents came to visit! It was a great visit. We celebrated Brooks' birthday with a donut & hot chocolate party at the park. Mike & Joepa (my dad) worked on taking down the massive tree in our back yard, and G*ma (my mom) and I worked on a craft! (Seems like we start something everytime she visits!)
Then we had a wonderful Thankgiving (with no pictures) at the S's house. One of the wonderful things about Texas is that we have friends that are family. Thanks for including us in your holiday festivities (especially since we didn't have to make anything)! Mike and I happened to go on a date to my first (& last) hockey game (Stars v. Penguins). Not. A. Fan.
Mike made our Christmas tree and I think it is PERFECT! This is Brooks' best girl friend, Harper.

Then, my sister Kayla and her daughter Penelope (Poppy) came to visit. Poppy is 20 months old and it was the first time she and Brooks have visited that they played together! It was so fun.

And Mike worked on the tree...some more.

And we took the kiddos to look at the trains at Northpark. Pretty sure I could have left Brooks there and he would have never noticed.

I really do want to blog more often. Maybe one day when life calms down a little!?!

Again...loved the pictures! Love this technology that allows us to see your family!
Chris loved trains too! So fun!
And that tree in your backyard! What an undertaking! Must say I am impressed!
Also impressed with the creative way of putting up a tree when one has toddlers at home! Great job Mike!
Miss you all! But thankful, as you say that you have "family" in the Lord to love on you when real family are not near by.
Merry Christmas!
